Invest in your time – invest in yourself, your tomorrow and your acclamation depends on it.
Self Investment – When I was in my 19s, I decided to change or transform everything which I was currently doing, to ‘education’. Education was my acclimation. Again years after at the age of 26, a one-day decision to change and take the risk to start my entrepreneurship and at that age, it was my acclimation. Years go by with many ups and downs. Many things have been changed, even my looks. But again in the year of January 2017, I decided to look out of the box and work in an acclaimed way so that I can reach where I should and I enjoy my present too.
I started to work about 12hrs a day (I mean), start from 6.30 in the morning till evening 7.30 with a 1hr break in-between. Nothing was pre-decided, the work flown and I started to find more explorations. Today I first learn, then experiment before to implement anything. By doing so I never look for any results or gains, I do because I feel acclamation. I am more confident than before and I am learning to, ‘consistently believe in myself’ and keep patience.
I read my many articles of leaders and successful persons in a wide spectrum and found one thing common which differentiate them from the rest;
They are investing in themselves…
An investment in yourself is a great example of ‘self-love’, and may very well be the most profitable investment you will ever make.
Invest in your self-confidence
Self- confidence will determine whether you stand up for yourself or not. It will determine whether you find the courage to leave a dysfunctional relationship or continue staying in one. And it will mostly be the determining factor in whether you succeed or not. So find the time to invest in building your self-confidence. Learn to have the courage to speak your truth. The more you love yourself and own the value that you offer, the more confident you will become in sharing it with others.
Investing in your personal confidence is a great investment that will even inspire others to do the same.
Invest in your knowledge
The more we learn, the more we realize that we have a lot more to learn.
Educating yourself and gaining knowledge on a variety of things will empower you with tools that will make you and others become better.
Each day of mine start with one belief, quoted by Greek philosopher Socrates
“The only thing I know is that I know nothing”
Invest in your health
We can work for and get anything we want but if we don’t live long enough to see it and healthy enough to enjoy it, then it was of no use to us.
Every day we grow older and with each passing day, we have a chance to either build or break our health. Invest in personal exercise and your diet every day. This might not feel like it is that important when you’re young and energetic but your future body will thank you for the effort you put in now. So do something every day to get moving and get your heart rate up, even, if it’s just walking without a destination. Maintain a healthy diet, with quantity and quality.
Invest in your relationships
Keeping relationships (just don’t be choosy), this I learned from my family and inspired from my love.
Relationships add more value to who we are and they take time to build. Your priceless most valuable relationships won’t take one day to build; they will take years and years. But they are also not built automatically without us putting in any effort.
This applies to business relationships as well.
The benefits reaped from building our relationships cant be measured. The more they grow, the more value they will have and the more valuable benefits they give for the society. A good society builds
My final thought…
Be yourself, and do what you can to make yourself the best you can be.
And investing in yourself emotionally and physically will allow you to become the best version of yourself. The extent to which you invest in yourself, not only shapes the way you interact with the outside world, it often reflects the opinion you have of yourself and this will affect your chances of success in the future.
So invest in yourself, because your future depends on it. The good life moves on…
